FOR WHO?

Our Vegetarian Chef course is for those who want to cook professionally without meat (and other animal ingredients), and for those who don’t want to become professional chefs but want to step outside the Bermuda Triangle of fried cheese, fries and steamed vegetables. If you wish to create wholesome, yet tasty meals for yourself and for your customers using plant-based ingredients. The course is essentially vegetarian, but can be taken by vegans and  80% of taught recepies are vegan.

2024. September. 19.

HOW DOES THE EDUCATION WORK?

The program has three components: 1-theoretical, 2-practical lessons and 3-internship. Our school uses a digital classroom where video lectures and reading materials are available online.

THEORETICAL LESSONS:

They are available continuously during the course and can be viewed online.

PRACTICAL CLASSES:

Every week on Thursday 17:00-21:00.

HOW LONG IS OUR TRAINING?

The duration of the training is one year including the internship. 150 hours of kitchen lab classes (in 5 months) and 337 hours of internship. 

HOW MUCH DOES THE TRAINING COST ?

The cost of the prfessional training program is 5.500 EUR.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN PARTICIPATE IN EDUCATION? IN WHICH LANGUAGE?

During the practical classes max. 15 people can participate. Teaching is in English language.

INPUT REQUIREMENTS

  • Elementary school degree
  • Labour health examination in Hungary
 

WHAT CERTIFICATION CAN YOU GET AT THE END OF THE TRAINING?

At the end of the program, you will receive a state recognised certification issued by the Culinary Institute of Europe, stating that you have successfully met the requirements of the course, successfully completed your internship and passed the final exam. Furthermore, you will qualify for the state exam for Commis Chef professional certification. The state certification is recognised by the Hungarian and EU governments and you will be able to work in all types of professional kitchens in the EU member countries.
