FOR WHO?

At the Culinary Institute of Europe, we pride ourselves on providing a completely our own curriculum, which combines basic techniques with the latest international trends. The course thus trains professionals who are ready to work in Hungary or abroad in catering establishments and in everyday kitchen service.
But the course is not only for those who want to become chefs as a profession, but also for all food lovers, who are attracted to the world of fine dining and want to prepare and serve restaurant-style food at home.

WHEN DOES THE TRAINING START?

The next class will begin on the 4th of March, 2025.

HOW DOES THE EDUCATION WORK?

The program has three components: 1-theoretical, 2-practical lessons and 3-internship. Our school uses a digital classroom where video lectures and reading materials are available online. Practical classes are on Wednesdays from 12:00 to 16:00.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

The full cost of the professional training program is 7.500 EUR

HOW LONG IS OUR TRAINING?

The duration of the training is 12 months, at total of 600 hours.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN PARTICIPATE IN EDUCATION? IN WHICH LANGUAGE?

During the practical lessons max. 15 students can participate.
Education is in English language.

INPUT REQUIREMENTS

  • High school degree
  • Good command of English language (B2 level)
  • Labour health examination in Hungary

WHAT PAPER CAN YOU GET AT THE END OF THE TRAINING?

At the end of the course, you will receive a state recognised certification issued by the Culinary Institute of Europe, stating that you have successfully met the requirements of the course, successfully completed your internship and passed the final exam. Furthermore, you will qualify for the state exam for Commis Chef professional certification. The state certification is recognised by the Hungarian and EU governments and you will be able to work in all types of professional kitchens in the EU member states.
